We believe in being transparent about how we process personal data. This Privacy Policy provide detsils on the personal data we process, the legal basis for processing, the purposes of processing, and how we may share it. The data processing carried out by the Service is conducted by LiveArena Technologies AB (“LiveArena”) as the data processor, reg. no. 559295-8481.

PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

The Service processes personal data to function effectively while prioritizing your privacy. We collect only the necessary personal data to provide the Service. The following describes the personal data we process and how we handle it:

1. Data processed locally on your device
   Camera and audio feeds: These are processed locally on your device during a production. This raw data is never transmitted or stored by LiveArena or any third-party processors. The user’s voice and image in the video are considered personal data.
2. Data transmitted in a secure format
   Universally Unique Identifier (UUID): This unique identifier, linked to your account or device, is collected by the Service. Before being transmitted to LiveArena, it is securely hashed and salted, to ensure the data cannot be reversed or reconstructed. This identifier does not contain any personally identifiable information.
3. When data is collected
   The UUID is collected when the Service is activated and continuously when the Service is in use.

WHY WE PROCESS DATA, OUR LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING AND RETENTION PERIOD

We only process personal data for specific purposes and based on applicable legal grounds. Data will be retained only for as long as necessary for these purposes. Please not that the retention periods may differ if required by mandatory law.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH

LiveArena Technologies AB does not collect or process personal data directly. Instead, we use anonymized hashed UUIDs that cannot be reversed or reconstructed, ensuring no personal data is transmitted or stored. Our partners may access these UUIDs for necessary operational purposes, but they cannot derive any personal data from them.
We ensure that all data-sharing activities are in compliance with applicable laws and uphold the highest standards of data protection. No personal data is transferred, processed, or shared outside of the EU/EEA.
As LiveArena is the data processor, the Customer (you, the User) is the data controller for all personal data you manage. The Customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws.

RIGHTS UNDER THE the GDPR
If you have any questions regarding LiveArena Technologies AB’s processing of personal data, please contact LiveArena Technologies AB at helpdesk@livearena.com or use the contact details provided at the bottom of this document. You may also use these contact details if you would like to exercise any of your rights as a data subject under the GDPR. Please note that the rights under the GDPR are not unconditional. Therefore, an attempt to invoke any of the rights might not lead to an action. Your rights under the GDPR include the following:

• Right to access – According to article 15 of the GDPR, you are entitled to access your personal data and receive certain information about the processing.
• Right to rectification – According to article 16 of the GDPR, you are entitled to obtain rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and to have incomplete personal data completed.
• Right to erasure – Under certain circumstances, you are according to article 17 of the GDPR entitled to have the personal data erased. This is the so-called “right to be forgotten”.
• Right to restriction of processing – Under certain circumstances, you are according to article 18 of the GDPR entitled to restrict the processing of the personal data that LiveArena Technologies AB carries out.
• Right to data portability – You are, under certain circumstances, according to article 20 of the GDPR entitled to receive the personal data (or have the Data directly transmitted to another data controller) in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format from LiveArena Technologies AB.
• Right to object – According to article 21 of the GDPR, you are entitled to object to certain processing activities conducted by LiveArena Technologies AB on the personal data, such as all LiveArena Technologies AB’s processing of the personal data based on LiveArena Technologies AB’s legitimate interest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Sweden (the seat of LiveArena Technologies AB) is Datainspektionen / Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

We employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against loss, and to guard data against unauthorized access. Such security measures include implementing secure private connections, traceability of data, disaster recovery plan and access limitations. Security policies and procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure all production systems are safe and protected.

As the data processor, LiveArena Technologies AB does not directly control the data that belongs to the Customer. Any sub-processors used by LiveArena Technologies AB to support the Service are detailed in the processing agreement between LiveArena and the Customer.
